The background: Discussions about stocks and financial markets can greatly influence stock prices. StockPulse monitores communication in social media in realtime and automatically generates buzz and sentiment values for stocks – the combination of both values can be found in the trend matrix.
High Buzz means that the stock is currently discussed heavily in social media; this might be a short term indicator for high volatility of the stock. Low Buzz indicates that the stock is currently not discussed much. A bullish sentiment indicates that the majority of market participants is discussing positively about the stock and a rising stock price can be anticipated. If the sentiment value is bearish it is the other way around (a negative market mood and a short term indication of a falling stock price). All information in the Buzz Warnings are to be regarded as short-term indicators (intraday).
